H.O.P.E. Project Training Academy offers training programs in select industries that offer hard-working individuals the opportunity to build careers that support their self-sufficiency. To ensure access to our life-changing programs, we work with individuals to make access to the training affordable, and we partner with government agencies, private and non-profit businesses, and community organizations.
Our TRAINING PROGRAMS range from courses (below) offering industry-standard certifications, to engaging professional development sessions.
We also offer SERVICES to individuals and businesses that help ensure their success. We connect H.O.P.E. Project Training Academy students and graduates with employment and continuing education opportunities, and they are not treated as mere alumni. Program Overview
The objective of this course is to prepare the student to pass the written Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) test for Class A & B license, and to proceed to find employment opportunities as a commercial driver.

The objective of this course is to provide instruction on computer hardware; software and operating systems and is designed for entry-level information and communication technology (ICT) professionals. The Curriculum covers the fundamentals of PC Technology, networking and security that includes installation, configuration and upgrading; diagnosing and troubleshooting; basic networking as well as practical applications of operating system.

The objective of this course is to teach students to analyze, test, troubleshoot and evaluate existing network systems, such as Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and internet systems or a segment of a network system. Students will also learn to perform network maintenance to ensure that networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.

The objective of this course is to prepare an individual who has already grasped the foundation essentials of networks through a Security+ class or similar class that covers network fundamentals. The skills learned and hands-on labs are modeled after scenarios that exist in an Enterprise LAN Network. This course prepares the individual to obtain a LAN Technician position and to “hit the ground running” upon employment.

The objective of this course is to instruct students on the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service standards, policies and procedures. The course will cover requirements for the students to qualify for positions as Security guards so that they understand exactly what is expected and required of them. The course describes the mission, the desired qualities for a Security Guard and the proper protocol when conducting business with employees, occupants and visitors to facilities.
